Recently, Siemens, announced the deepening of its collaboration with NVIDIA to create the industrial metaverse. Bringing immersive visualization to the Siemens Xcelerator platform based on the new NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud API drives greater use of AI digital twin technology.

During NVIDIA's annual GTC conference, Siemens and NVIDIA join    ed forces to demonstrate the transformative impact of generative AI on complex data visualization, while highlighting how shipbuilding giant HD Hyundai is enabling new product development powered by this technology.

Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens, said: "With the NVIDIA Omniverse API, Siemens is able to leverage generative AI to empower customers to make their physics-compliant digital twins even more immersive." This will help to design, manufacture and test the next generation product, manufacturing process and plant, before everyone really build them. By merging the real world with the digital world, Siemens digital Twin technology is helping businesses around the world become more competitive, resilient and sustainable."

In the next phase of the collaboration, Siemens will release a new Teamcenter X product, cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) software, as part of the Xcelerator platform. Powered by NVIDIA Omniverse technology, Siemens engineering teams will be able to create digital twins, avoiding potential waste and errors in their workflows.

The introduction of immersive visualization technology into the Siemens Xcelerator platform is a major leap forward in the field of AI digital twin technology. This advance promises to revolutionize the way products are conceptualized, designed, and tested, ultimately improving efficiency and sustainability across industries.
