Chinese companies will lead the global electric vehicle (EV) industry over the next decade by selling cars at prices "unheard of outside China".
Listed Chinese manufacturer BYD (Build Your Dreams) surpassed Tesla this year to become the world's largest electric car maker.
BYD has expanded sales to Norway, Denmark and the UK, as well as Thailand and Australia. According to Reuters, BYD has not yet entered the United States. Sino-U.S. tensions and U.S. President Joe Biden's push to produce electric vehicles in the U.S. have delayed BYD's entry into the second-largest auto market after China.
